HEAD of school's MESSAGE
Little Saints was founded by Mrs Salvia Owen in 1994, on the main campus of the school. It now lies just across from the St Andrew’s School grounds, on the corner of 3rd Avenue and Reid Street where it moved in 2014. Go beyond the entry gates and you are transported into a very special pre-school for grades 000, 00 and R.
Wonderfully-equipped, Little Saints is home to a stimulating, happy environment, where a tightly-knit group of very dedicated teachers provides young boys with a superb foundation for their future school lives.
A warm energy fills the school and smiles are plentiful. It truly is a home for each child entrusted to the care of the teachers.
The boys’ days are meticulously planned out, so that they are subjected to a rich diversity of experiences, which encompass learning and playing. A wide variety of special activities are also organised each year to add spice to the children’s experiences.

How We Assess Your Child
Based on CAPS Outcomes: We use the Department of Education CAPS programme as our reference for all assessments.
Informal & Active Learning: Outcomes are repeated through fun activities and games. Active participation is essential.
Sensory & Movement Activities: Daily movement and sensory activities are vital for learning and development.
Repetition Builds Success: Repeating activities gives children multiple chances to succeed.
Reporting to Parents
1st Term: Parent-teacher interviews to discuss your child’s progress and strengthen collaboration.
2nd, 3rd & 4th Term (Grade R): Written reports shared with parents.
2nd & 4th Term (Grade 00 & 000): Written reports shared with parents.
Open Communication: Teachers may request meetings anytime to discuss your child’s development.
