Congratulations to the matrics of 2020. Despite a disrupted academic year, the 61 Boys in Blue rose to the occasion.

Marc van der Nest, with 9 distinctions, was awarded the prize for the TOP MATRICULANT in the Free State in the 2020 NSC exam, following in the footsteps of Ethan Travers (2018) and Stehann van Jaarsveld (2017). What an amazing achievement to have had the top matriculant in the province for three of the past four years. Marc achieved a 96% average and obtained full marks in Accounting and Physical Science.

Bernard Pretorius (7 distinctions) and Joubert Katzke (6 distinctions) were also in the top 50 in the province. Thomas Greyvenstein also bagged 7 distinctions.

91,8% of our matrics obtained a Bachelor’s pass and the overall pass rate was 98,3%. The grade average was an impressive 65,57%.

Other top achievers:Kyle Rip 5 A’sDale Fletcher, Karabello Mohapi and JD Bruwer obtained 4 distinctions each.
