30 August 2018 – After four decades of outstanding service to Saint Andrew's, Pierre Grobler has reached the age of retirement and the day has come to step away from his role as a teacher and mentor, a role that he has performed so well to the benefit of thousands of Saints' boys. A successful Saints’ exchange with Ripley St Thomas

11 October 2016 – Saint Andrew’s Chaplain Father Deon Lombard, together with grade 10 boys Ethan Travers and Martin van Rooyen, recently spent three weeks at Ripley St Thomas Church of England Academy in Lancashire as part of an exchange between the two schools.

Service to the Community

The boys at St Andrew’s are encouraged to involve themselves in community projects.  Two literary quotes illustrate the educational motivation of this programme.  The first comes from the English novelist Charles Dickens: “No one is useless in this world who lightens the burden of it for anyone else.” The second is by the American novelist Herman Melville: “We cannot live only for ourselves. A thousand fibers connect us with our fellow men.”
